Repaint of Gables in Wanaka

We carried out exterior maintenance and repainting of the fibre cement gable ends on this Wanaka home to restore both protection and appearance. The surfaces were cleaned and sanded to remove chalking and loose material, then all cracks and joints were sealed with a flexible exterior sealant to allow for normal building movement. Repaired areas were spot primed and the gables were carefully repainted to achieve a uniform finish while maintaining the ventilation behind the cladding. The home now looks significantly cleaner and sharper from the street, and the new protective coating will help the cladding handle Central Otago sun, rain and temperature changes for years to come.
