The cedar on this Wānaka home had weathered unevenly, with patchy greying around the entry and the most exposed elevations. The owners wanted to restore a consistent finish without losing the natural character of the timber.
After a full exterior clean and prep, we applied a penetrating stain that soaks into the timber rather than sitting on top — bringing back depth and warmth, and protecting the cladding against the Central Otago climate.
